Open-Ended
Do you prefer a less structured approach where we have space and time to explore whatever comes up for you?
If so, open-ended therapy might be best. This is a good option if you are unsure of what to focus on, and are open to a variety of tools/techniques to see what works best!
Open-ended is generally longer term, but the number of sessions can be agreed between us. We will review the number of sessions regularly.

Goal Oriented
Are you looking for a crash course in anxiety, or depression? In this case, CBT might be best for you.
​
CBT is recommended by the NICE guidelines for the treatment and management of most anxiety disorders and depression.
​
This approach will include up to 8 sessions, and each week will have a focus e.g. restructuring negative thoughts.
This approach is also suitable for many mental health disorders such as OCD and PTSD. There is an expectation of some between-session practices and homework completion.

Understanding Low Self Esteem
Do you struggle with high levels of self-criticism and feeling not good enough?
Using evidence-based CBT techniques, we will understand why we experience low self-esteem, what keeps it going, and how we can deal with anxious, self-critical thoughts. We will work together in moving towards appreciating your positive qualities, increased self-confidence and improved self-esteem.

We will work with 8 sessions in mind, and review towards the end to see if further sessions may be helpful.
